You are exactly how i like you. Your scars do not need to change. Instead i wish for them to glimmer brightly as a reminder. Now i know, now i can feel, that radiance is knit from the strands of the soul within. I know now that the silence always beckons me with open arms giving the safest place to fall.
Now I know I have all it takes to feel the days where we fumble and flounder and fall a little with same sensitivity. The days where I’m swallowed whole by things too big for me to hold. The days where my heart beats like a thunder inside my own chest. When it is heavy. And loud. And relentless. Now I know I have the courage it takes to protect the spirit. So I promise to feel whatever it is you ask me to.
